Booking Policies
The following provides an overview of important Mega Little Palms booking and service policies. Complete terms and conditions are provided in the Booking Agreement for review before a reservation is finalized.
Availability Policy
Mega Little Palms accepts a limited number of bookings to provide each family with attentive, personalized care. Availability is subject to caregiver availability and is offered on a first-confirmed, first-reserved basis. Submitting a booking request does not reserve childcare dates or times. A booking is confirmed only after the required Booking Agreement has been completed and the required payment has been received.
Last minute Bookings
Requests made within 24 hours of the scheduled service are subject to caregiver availability. Full payment is required at the time of booking. A 500 MXN Last-Minute Booking Fee may apply when a booking is requested or confirmed within 24 hours of the scheduled service.
Deposits & Payments
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm and reserve your booking. The remaining balance is due no later than 48 hours before the first scheduled childcare session.
Bookings confirmed within 48 hours of the scheduled service require full payment before care begins. Services will not begin until all required payments have been received.
Applicable payment processing fees are the responsibility of the client and will reflect the fees associated with the selected payment method.
Cancellation Policy
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm all bookings and reserve the requested dates and times.
• Cancellations made more than 48 hours before the scheduled booking: Any amounts paid beyond the non-refundable deposit may be applied as a credit toward one rescheduled booking within 12 months, subject to availability.
• Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled booking: All amounts paid are non-refundable and no credit or rescheduling will apply.
Holiday bookings and other designated non-refundable booking dates are subject to their applicable cancellation terms.
“Client No-Show”
If the caregiver arrives at the agreed booking location and the client is unavailable, cannot be reached, access to the property cannot be obtained, or the service cannot begin as scheduled due to circumstances within the client’s control, the booking will be considered a client no-show.
As the reserved time has been held exclusively for the family, the full booking fee remains payable and no refund or credit will be issued.
Late Return
A 10-minute grace period is provided. If your return extends beyond the grace period without prior approval, additional childcare will automatically be billed in 30-minute increments at the applicable hourly rate. Whenever possible, please notify Mega Little Palms if you anticipate returning later than scheduled. Extensions remain subject to caregiver availability.
Changes to Your Booking
Requests to change confirmed booking dates, start times, end times, or reserved hours are subject to caregiver availability and are not guaranteed.
Changes requested more than 48 hours before the affected service may be accommodated without an administrative fee, subject to availability and the terms of the original booking.
Changes requested within 48 hours of the affected service may be subject to a 500 MXN Schedule Adjustment Fee. Any additional childcare hours, extended-hours rates, transportation costs, holiday rates, or other applicable charges remain payable in addition to this fee.
Reductions to confirmed dates or reserved hours are subject to the applicable cancellation policy and do not automatically qualify for a refund or credit.
Illness Policy
Please notify Mega Little Palms before your scheduled service if your child is experiencing a contagious illness, fever, vomiting, diarrhea, or another condition that may affect their ability to participate safely and comfortably in childcare.
Mega Little Palms reserves the right to decline, postpone, or discontinue care when a child’s condition may present a health or safety concern for the child, caregiver, or others. Applicable cancellation and rescheduling terms will apply.
Right to Refuse or Discontinue Service
Mega Little Palms is committed to providing professional, respectful childcare in a safe environment for children and caregivers.
Mega Little Palms reserves the right to decline, suspend, or discontinue care when:
• Required payment obligations have not been met.
• Information necessary to provide safe care has been withheld or is materially inaccurate.
• The caregiver’s safety or wellbeing is threatened.
• The service location is unsafe or unsuitable for childcare.
• Circumstances arise that prevent safe, professional care from being provided.
If care is declined or discontinued due to circumstances within the client’s control, applicable charges for the reserved booking may remain payable.
Unexpected Circumstances
Mega Little Palms is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or interruptions caused by circumstances beyond reasonable control, including severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, transportation disruptions, power outages, or other emergencies.
If such circumstances affect a scheduled booking, Mega Little Palms will make reasonable efforts to accommodate or reschedule the service when possible. Any applicable refund, credit, or rescheduling will be determined in accordance with the circumstances of the booking and the Booking Agreement & Terms.
