Every booking with Mega Little Palms is personalized to each family’s needs. Care can range from a minimum three-hour booking for a dinner date or quick work meeting, to longer daytime or evening support while parents explore, work, or relax.
Some families book care occasionally during travel or special occasions, while others request more consistent support — such as several days per week or extended stays. Care can take place in the home, at a hotel or villa, or alongside families during outings such as beach clubs or events.
Each request is discussed individually to ensure the right level of care, comfort, and support for both children and parents.

All care is provided directly by Megan, founder of Mega Little Palms and a qualified Early Childhood Educator. Families work one-on-one with the same trusted caregiver, ensuring consistency, professionalism, and thoughtful attention to each child’s needs.

Care is available for infants through early school-age children. Each session is thoughtfully adapted to your child’s age, developmental stage, and daily routine to ensure they feel comfortable, engaged, and well cared for while you enjoy your time away.

Hourly rates apply to up to 2 children. For families with more than 2 children, pricing may be adjusted based on the number of children, ages, and level of support required.

Yes. Care is provided directly in your accommodation, whether you are staying in a villa, hotel, or private residence in Tulum or elsewhere in the Riviera Maya. This allows children to remain in familiar surroundings while parents enjoy time to themselves.

It’s completely normal for children to take a little time to feel comfortable with someone new. Care is always approached gently and at your child’s pace, allowing time to build trust through play, conversation, and familiar routines.
Many children warm up quickly once they feel safe and engaged, and the goal is always to create a calm and positive experience for both you and your child.
If helpful, parents are welcome to spend a few minutes together at the beginning of the session so children can feel comfortable before transitioning.

Yes. Parents can receive occasional updates during the childcare session, including brief messages or photos, so you can enjoy your time knowing your child is comfortable and well cared for.

Mega Little Palms provides private childcare for families staying in Tulum, Cancún, Cozumel, Playa del Carmen, and throughout the Riviera Maya. Care is typically provided in homes, hotels, vacation rentals, and private villas. Services outside these areas may be available upon request.

Yes. Mega Little Palms offers on-site childcare for weddings, retreats, celebrations, and special events. Care can be tailored based on the number of children, ages, schedule, and event requirements.

Children are engaged through thoughtful play-based activities such as creative play, painting, storytelling, imaginative games, and movement-based activities like dancing, outdoor play, and fine motor skill activities. All activities are adapted to each child’s age, interests, and comfort level.

Advance booking is recommended whenever possible, particularly during busy travel periods in Tulum. However, last-minute requests may sometimes be accommodated depending on availability.

We understand that travel plans can change. If you need to adjust your booking, please let us know as soon as possible. We will always do our best to accommodate changes based on availability. Cancellation and rescheduling policies can be found in our Parent Guide.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking. Cancellations made more than 24 hours before the scheduled booking may be rescheduled once using the original deposit, subject to availability. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the booking will result in the deposit being forfeited. Please refer to our Parent Guide for complete booking policies.

A 50% deposit is required to confirm your booking, with the remaining balance due at the end of your childcare session. Payments are accepted via Wise, e-transfer, cash, or PayPal.
