Mega Little Palms began with a simple idea: families should be able to travel with the same confidence they feel when they have a childcare professional they already know and trust.
The idea first came from a family Megan cared for in Canada who wished she could travel with them and continue providing care while they were away. It highlighted something that many travelling parents experience: finding someone they feel confident leaving their children with, especially somewhere unfamiliar, isn’t always easy.
That idea grew into Mega Little Palms: professional, ECE-led private childcare designed to give families someone they can trust, communicate easily with, and feel confident welcoming into their family’s time away.
What began with one family’s wish has grown into something with a larger purpose: raising the standard of professional private childcare for traveling families.

Professional knowledge and hands-on experience shape the care behind Mega Little Palms.
Mega Little Palms was founded by Megan Girault, a qualified Early Childhood Educator with a Bachelor of Arts and a diploma in Early Childhood Education from Toronto Metropolitan University (formerly Ryerson University).
Megan’s experience includes supporting children across a range of ages and developmental stages in educational settings, private family homes, hotels, villas, and vacation residences. Her approach draws on professional knowledge of child development together with hands-on experience providing responsive, child-led care.
Her background includes:

• Experience supporting infants, toddlers, and school-age children across multiple developmental stages
• Experience in both educational and private family settings
• Play-based, child-led practice supporting learning, confidence, and social-emotional development
• Private childcare experience with travelling families throughout the Riviera MayaMegan’s experience in the Riviera Maya includes providing private childcare for families staying in established hotels, residential communities, villas, and resorts, including La Zebra SLH Hotel in Tulum, La Privada in Aldea Zama, Tulum, and Mayakoba in Playa del Carmen.
